🔔 Important Update: CRA Authorization Required Starting July 15, 2025

Beginning July 15, 2025, the CRA will require individuals to authorize access through the Represent a Client portal before we can retrieve any of your tax documents.
This means we will no longer be able to access your CRA records on your behalf unless you’ve authorized us directly through your CRA My Account as of July 15.
We recommend setting up your CRA account and completing authorization as early as possible to avoid any delays with document access.

If you are placing an order now, please ensure your Consent Forms are signed as soon as possible to avoid any delays in retrieval of your documents.

Need assistance? We're here to help guide you through the process.

We also should integrate into our FAQs that there are now immediate options for setting up a CRA account, you no longer have to wait 10 days for a security code in the mail.

🧾 How to Register for a CRA My Account

Setting up your account is simple and secure. You’ll need:

  • Your Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • Your Date of Birth
  • An amount from your most recent tax return
  • One of the following pieces of ID:
    • Canadian passport
    • Canadian driver's license
    • Provincial or territorial photo ID card

Once you enter your information, you have two options for verifying your identity:
Option 1: Submit a selfie with your ID for immediate verification
📬 Option 2: Wait 10 business days to receive a security code by mail
